Schools Division Superintendent
Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) provides overall management and technical assistance for the efficient operations and effective implementation of policies and education programs at the Schools Division level. The SDS ensures quality in the delivery of basic education services by developing division work systems and procedures, setting standards consistent with the national and regional educational policies, plans and standards and ensures compliance thereto.
The SDS oversees the effective and efficient use of financial, human, and physical resources of the Schools Division and the operations of public and private elementary, secondary and integrated schools and learning centers are within DepEd standards.
MARSHA M. LAMIS
Administrative Assistant III
Accountabilities:
1. Assist the Schools Division Superintendent in the management of the schools division and in exercising management functions of planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling. The ASDS may be assigned specific areas of responsibilities and be delegated the necessary authority to perform the task/s by the SDS (e.g. Education Support cluster).
2. Assist the SDS in the crafting and implementation of the education development plans and programs of the schools division.
3. Assist the SDS in the conduct of periodic visits to public and private schools and learning centers to check compliance with standards in the implementation of curricular requirements and programs/projects.
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Unit
Accountabilities:
- Manage and maintain the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Systems and Infrastructure of the divisions to effectively support operations.
- Manage and implement ICT programs and projects in the division to ensure data validity and effective utilization of the systems.
- Formulate plans for the division to effectively allocate the necessary ICT resources of the region to support regional strategy, operations, programs and projects.
- Participate and communicate with Central Office and other ICT Units across levels with regard to the implementation of national ICT and ICT-related programs.
Administrative Services
Accountabilities:
- To provide management with economical, efficient and effective administrative services on personnel, properties, cash, facilities and materials to support DO operations.
- Specific Functions:
- Develop a well-planned, directed and coordinated personnel administration, employees welfare system for teaching and non-teaching personnel records management, cashiering, supply management and general services
- Implement government laws, policies, plans, programs, rules and regulations on general service functions (from DBM, CSC, COA, etc.)
- Plan and manage the effective and efficient use of all resources of the division in accordance with existing rules
- Operationalize the required administrative systems to improve productivity, efficiency, and timely completion of government transactions and reports
- Provide administrative services to the other functional and support units in the schools division office
- Institutionalize welfare and incentive package for teaching and non-teaching personnel
- Establish personnel and client feedback mechanism
- Implement administrative and disciplinary sanctions imposed on erring schools division personnel, and act as the coordinating unit for the implementation of an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) system in the schools division.
Cashier
Accountabilities:
To manage cash collections, disbursements, liquidations and preparation of reports to the accounting office to ensure proper utilization and timely disbursement of funds and liquidation of cash advances to pay for government obligation in accordance with accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
Personnel & Records

Administrative Officer IV (Personnel)
Accountabilities:
To provide the organization with personnel administration services related to personnel acquisition, documentation and recording of personnel movement and position items, provision of compensation and benefits, and reporting to personnel oversight agencies.
METHUSELAH M. ALVAREZ
Administrative Officer IV (Records)
Accountabilities:
To provide the organization with the information from documents and records as reference in its operations by managing the system relating to acceptance, encoding, releasing, creation, utilization, retention, preservation and disposal of records.
Property and Supply
Accountabilities:
To coordinate and manage activities related to acquisition and utilization of material resources- such as procurement (using alternative mode), inspection, acceptance, issuance, storage, maintenance and inventory of equipment and properties and maintenance of an accurate record of all the Properties of the Division – towards the efficient operations of the schools division office in the delivery of quality basic education.
To facilitate the disposal of waste materials and unserviceable equipment to derive economic benefit and maintain orderliness and efficient use of office space.
Accounting
Accountabilities:
To provide efficient, economical and effective general support services relating to safety and security of office personnel, premises, documents and properties; ground and landscape maintenance, building and office facilities maintenance, and motor pool services in order to enable and support the office personnel in the performance and delivery of their respective functions/services for the attainment of the vision and mission of the office.
Budget
Accountabilities:
To provide efficient, economical and effective general support services relating to safety and security of office personnel, premises, documents and properties; ground and landscape maintenance, building and office facilities maintenance, and motor pool services in order to enable and support the office personnel in the performance and delivery of their respective functions/services for the attainment of the vision and mission of the office.
